Corrina Arnold, MA MC RCC
Hi, I’m Corrina welcome to my page. I have been a therapist for over 17 years counselling individuals, couples and families in various contexts. For the last 11 years I have been doing private practice work; at my home office and now at Yale Therapy Group. I spent my first 7 years as a therapist at Ann Davis Transition Society working with trauma and abuse survivors.
I have also had the privilege of being an adjunct faculty at Trinity Western University (TWU) in the Counselling Psychology Department since 2005, teaching basic counseling skills, trauma therapy and supervising master’s level therapists in a Practicum setting and doing clinical supervision.
In 2000 I completed my second masters degree, a Masters in Counseling (MC) from TWU. Much of my time in the last 17 years has been spent working with trauma; working with many clients experiencing PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). I have training in a few different trauma therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), One Eye Integration (OEI) and Lifespan Integration (LI). My relationship certifications include training in The Gottman Method of couples counseling as well as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
I continue to update my training on a regular basis, some of the recent workshops I have attended include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with David Burns, a number of different workshops on aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotional freedom technique (EFT), Satir systems brief therapy, and Gordon Neufeld on parenting and attachment with stuck kids.
I have been registered with the BC Association of Clinical Councellor’s (RCC) since 1999 and I am registered with the Crime Victims’ assistance Program. You can see more about me on my personal website: http://corrinaarnold.com
I provide a listening ear, understanding, and encouragement in a safe setting in which to do your personal work. You will need safety and trust to begin the process of change and I am able to create a setting that aids in this movement towards personal growth.
My session fees have increased to $120 for sessions beginning 5 pm or later. I’m at Yale Therapy Group Tuesday to Friday and can be reached through Yale at 604-795-9552 extension #101, I can also be reached at 604-316-3585, call or text or by email at corrinaarnold@telus.net.
