Dawn Percher
Biography
I received my Bachelor’s degree in psychology and criminology in 2006 and worked in youth addictions and residential settings for 8 years before completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology in 2015. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BCACC (#13889), and have completed training in EMDR, Lifespan Integration, OEI, Emotion-Focused Family Therapy, Sand Tray and Play Therapies, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I have experience working with PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), early complex childhood trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and addictions (substance and process). I have been working with Residential School Survivors and individuals impacted by intergenerational trauma for the last 2 years. I provide training for other professionals on working with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders, Trauma-Informed Practice, and Self-Care and Collective Care.
